[So...Duo feels like an ass after his little temper tantrum yesterday. He's still rather exhausted, even after having slept heavily through the night, and didn't plan to the leave the house for a little bit yet. What does he do to make it up to Gaignun?

He slides a little doodle of a cartoony Duo holding out a cup of coffee. Under the drawing is written in Duo's writing:]

Please forgive me?

[The offer is considered, and a doodle is sent back (via Kazul the little green fire lizard) with a cartoony Gaignun wagging his finger saying 'ah ah, out loud']

[Goddammit. Welp, he should have expected that answer. Minus the cartoon, of course, but the message is still there. With a sigh, he gets up from his bed and goes down the hall to Gaignun's room. He knocks on the door lightly.]

...Sorry...

[To be completely honest, Gaignun had already forgiven Duo after he found him asleep. Vindication can be a mighty soother after all. Still, he knew that it would be good if Duo apologized properly.

So the door opens]

You are forgiven. I take it you feel a bit better now?

[Duo nods once, lifting a hand to rub the back of his neck.]

Yeah, I'm fine. How long was I out?

Long enough to reassure me that I was right.

[Nope, he's not blushing. Nuh uh. Can't prove it.]

...So pretty much as soon as we got home until whatever time it is.

[Why do you gotta be right all the time?!]

[Because he is Gaignun Kukai. Now if only he could use this power of always being right with Albedo. It would solve many problems.]

Yes. You conked out before you could even shower.

Yeah yeah...

[He's not being snippy this time. It's just...embarrassing. He sighs, running his fingers through his bangs.]

Apology accepted. I shouldn't have gotten so irritated at you either.

Can't. I took a day off to work on Anko's window the day before yesterday. Or was it before that?

[Yeah, he's not going to actually put up a fight this time. He's just going to crawl back up under the covers of his own bed and curl up with Ru, Anna, or Jenny. Really, whoever ended up in his bed last night while he was zonked out.]
