Mmm, I might be able to help with that actually. Lie down, I'll get you some water.

[Have some grumbling thrown your way, Gaignun. He's going to lie down, but it's because he doesn't want to fall over. Yeah, that's the story he's going with.]

[Just keep doing as he says willingly Duo. That'll make everything easier. Gaignun'll just leave, and then come back a minute or so later with some water]

Drink it. You should probably try and sleep soon too.

[He'll take the water, but set it on the table after a small sip.]

M'fine, m'fine...not thirs'y...

[He rolls over onto his side, now facing Gaignun. His eyes fall close, though, even as he mumbles about not being tired.]

Well, it's here when you are. [AKA when Duo wakes up with a mouth full of cotton. But, Gaignun is also smart enough to hang out with Duo until he drifts off.]

Mm...G'nun?

[Yup, definitely mumbling by now. Why does a bed have to be so comfy, even with broken parts all over it?]

Yes? What is it Duo? [To pass the time he's just going to start picking up some of the more pointy parts so drunkers mcdrunkerson can't hurt himself]

Whurs m'coat? H'ng up?

[It should be on the makeshift coat hook Duo put up by the door, but more than likely it's ended up on the floor.]

[Gaignun looked around for a moment before finding said article of clothing and picking it up]

It can be, give me a second. [And coat no longer is laying on the floor]. At least you have better clothing tastes then Rubedo.

C'n I have? Jen, sh'made it...

[He wears the thing everywhere. It's slowly becoming a security blanket of sorts...]

[Ah so that's why...Gaignun nodded and brought it over, gently draping it over Duo.]

Here. Just don't get tangled in it.

[Immediately, he snuggles into the coat.]

H'ppend with Angel's coat...

[Just one more thing he wouldn't admit to if he weren't too busy being Drunky McAlcoholic.]

Angel...you mean Angeal? [He had heard from Angeal about the encounter on the roof, so he's hoping his assumption is correct)

Well, I'm not surprised. Angeal's coat would be so big on you that it would be easy to get tangled up in it.

Mmm. N'ghtm'res.

[He opens his eyes, just barely, and watches Gaignun move around the room. He's not going to admit to having to ask Angeal to untangle him. Not unless asked.]

I figured...[Gaignun shook his head and finally sat down once more.]

Have those been getting any better now that you're home?

Li'l. Ain' so 'tense, bu'still bad. Jen'n Ru help.

[Oh good. Gaignun's stopped moving. No more dizzy for Duo! With a sigh, he closes his eyes once more.]

[Gaignun smiled]

I'm glad. Having someone around tends to help, or so I'm told.

Uh...huh...

[He's going to burrow further into the coat. Who needs blankets, right? This is much more comfy.]

G'nun?

[Well, Gaignun will just wait until Duo is fully asleep before tucking him in.]

Yes Duo?

[Best big bro, Gaignun. For real.]

Th'ks...f'r e'ery...e'eryDuo falls silent for a long moment before the soft sounds of his light snoring can be heard.]

[He totally is...even if it came out of developing a very structured persona]

You're welcome Duo...[And tucking him in now. He's used to this from Rubedo]

[Nope, he doesn't even move as he's being tucked in. He's out like a light, which is ~~probably~~ definitely a good thing. Oh, and Gaignun, you totally get first dibs on the "I told you so's". Good night!]
